At the current Amsterdam motorshow, the Dutch High Speed Alliance presents its new product protfolio for the future high speed services in the Netherlands and beyond. The new name for high speed rail travelling will be Hispeed from now on. Including customer lounges, fancy services and of course new train sets. Center of attention on the stand of NS Hispeed is the brand new Pininfirina designed train sets, to be up and running in 2008. It has a very remarkable stretched nose section with a characteristic grasping air inlet up front. NS Hispeed uses pink and red as corporate colours, illustrated with at this moment very trendy monocolour organic shapes: butterflies. It meets the current graphic trends, but trends are very temporary....
